Additional Supplementary Regulations





The Porsche Club of Great Britain Region 4 and the 912 Register (hereafter known as the organisers) will organise a Touring Assembly to be known as ‘Porsches O’er t’Wolds’ on Sunday 26 July 2015. The event will start from Riseholme Agricultural College, University of Lincoln, Lincolnshire (MR 121/98107561).

Organisation of the Event

The meeting will be held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association together with these Additional Supplementary Regulations and any additional Instructions which may be issued by the organiser during the event. All entrants undertake to comply with these Regulations by completing the official Entry Form.
The MSA Certificate of Exemption/Permit No. will be applied for.


The event is open to all fully elected members of PCGB. Owners of Porsches who are not members of the PCGB may take part by becoming day members of the PCGB by purchasing day membership separately from the Entry Fee.
All drivers must be over 17 years of age and hold a valid full driving licence for the vehicle being driven. A Competition Licence is NOT required.
Only drivers nominated on the entry form are permitted to drive.
Passengers may be carried up to the maximum number for which proper seating is provided in the vehicle entered.
Any road legal Porsche variant will be eligible to take part.
Entrants may be provided with a numbered “Rally Plate” which must be displayed in a prominent forward facing position at the front of the car. No other number may be displayed other than the vehicle registration number.


The Entry List opens on the publication of these Regulations and entries must be received by the closing date of Saturday 19 July 2014. Entries received after the closing date, if accepted, may be subject to a late entry surcharge of £10.
The Entry Fee will be £5 per car for a crew of two (Driver and Navigator) and any further passengers.
Day membership for non-PCGB members will be £5.00 per person.
Cheques should be made payable to Region 4, PCGB and sent to the Secretary of the Meeting, Richard Watkinson, 61 Tetney Lane, Holton le Clay, GRIMSBY, Lincolnshire, DN36 5AS. (Tel: 01472220185.) All entry fees are to be paid in advance but may be refunded if the event is cancelled or the entry is withdrawn in writing prior to the closing date of 12 July 2014.
Refunds, if granted, will be at the sole discretion of the organisers, taking into account any expenses already incurred.
The Entry fee includes:
 • A fully detailed Route Book
• A Monte Carlo Style Rally Plate
• ‘A bag of goodies’.
The maximum number of entries for the event is 40 and the minimum is 20. Should the maximum number be exceeded, the Entry List will be determined by the date the entry was received. If the maximum number of entries is reached priority will be given to fully paid up members of Region 4 and members of the 912 Register.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event should the minimum number not be achieved by Saturday 19 July 2015. In such circumstances the entry fee will be returned.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry and are not bound to give their reasons for so doing.


• 08:00: Signing on and Documentation
• 0900: Drivers’ brief
• 1001: First car departs
• 12:00 – 13:00 An optional Lunch Halt has been arranged - full details will be in the Route Book. Entrants may purchase refreshments at this location or do their own thing.
• 1500: Rough time of arrival of first car

Drivers must have valid insurance in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts and relevant laws applicable in the United Kingdom and will be required to sign a declaration that they are covered by such insurance.
All participants in the event must sign an indemnity required under the terms of the policy held by the organisers relevant to the event.

Documentation and Vehicle check

Final instructions will be displayed at the start venue and it is the responsibility of all drivers to ensure that they have read and understood these instructions.
The following current and valid documents must be held by the owners of the vehicles.  It is the responsibility of the drivers to ensure that these documents are valid for the duration of the event.
• Valid RTA Licence (aka Driving Licence)
• MOT certificate (if applicable)
• Vehicle Excise Licence
• Certificate of Insurance

The Start

The event will start from Riseholme College (MR 121/98107561). Entry is to be from the A15 entrance signposted (MR 121/97517515)

Directions to the Start

All entrants are to use the entrance to Riseholme College off the A15 which will be arrowed.
From the South:  Coming from south of Lincoln, follow the A46 to the Riseholme Roundabout and take the first exit signposted A15 (Care 50 mph limit) and RAF Scampton.  Riseholme College entrance is signposted off to the right.  Follow arrows to the holding park.
From the North using the A15:  Riseholme entrance is signposted on the left after passing the Lincolnshire Showground which is on the right.  Follow arrows to the holding park.
From the North using the A46:  Do not use the Riseholme entrance off the A46.  Continue past Nettleham to next roundabout and take the third exit towards Lincoln C and S.  At the next roundabout (Riseholme Roundabout) take third exit signposted A15 (Care 50 mph limit) and RAF Scampton.  Riseholme College entrance is signposted off to the right.  Follow arrows to the holding park.

The starting order will be at the organisers’ discretion, but may be in order of entry reception.
Cars will leave the start at intervals of one minute. Please follow the marshal’s instructions on the way out as the first section will be arrowed.

The Route

The suggested Route will be approximately 120 miles and will vary from A to C class roads. Other than at the start venue, there will be no sections over private land.
A Route Book defining the entire route by means of tulip diagrams will be provided.
An overall time allowance will be given for the route.
A Lunch Halt where entrants may purchase refreshments has been arranged. Full details will be included in the Route Book and/or the Final Instructions.

The Finish
The finish venue is the Petwood Hotel (MR 122/19256380) where an optional three course meal will be provide for those who have pre-paid. The meal will be held in the Petwood Suite where a cash bar will be available.
All participants are asked to be clear of the hotel by 1800.

A 3 course meal will be made available at a cost of £20 per head, prebooked. If you wish to have the meal state number of adults / children. All meals must be booked by 1 July 2014, there will be no options for later bookings.
